Aviation Contractor Network Ltd ("ACN", "we", "us") operates the platform at aviationcontractornetwork.com. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this platform. Contact us at support@aviationcontractornetwork.com with any privacy questions.
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, password (hashed), employer or contractor profile information (company name, operator type, type ratings, licence numbers, availability), and any documents you upload for verification. We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address, and device information via analytics cookies (with your consent).
We use your data to: provide and operate the platform; match contractors with relevant roles; send transactional emails (account confirmation, contract notifications, expiry alerts); improve the platform through analytics; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud and abuse.
We process your data under the following legal bases: Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for. Legitimate interests — analytics, fraud prevention, platform improvement. Consent — marketing communications and non-essential cookies (you can withdraw consent at any time). Legal obligation — where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with: Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure); Vercel (hosting); payment processors where applicable. Employer accounts can view contractor profile information that contractors have chosen to make visible. We may disclose data to authorities where legally required.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days except where we are required to retain it for legal or contractual reasons. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to: access a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time.
